I spend last week away from the Internet and its endless doom and gloom. I breathed in the air, walked around the neighborhood and took in the scenes before me. I admittedly did dread coming back online on Monday. I inwardly cringed at the rapid acceptance of the state of the country. Masks and gloves were now the accepted attire. If you didn't wear them, you were considered a risk taker. I also heard that they may start forcing people to get the vaccine once this is all over. It is becoming increasingly difficult to get money out of the bank too. They are prepping everyone to ban cash, and accept electronic currency only.
Yet I do see some rays of hope. The disease is starting to flatten out, so hopefully soon there will be no more new cases. People are recovering from the disease. There has also been some adjustments while people get on board with doing things they wouldn't have done online, online. People have connected with others that they hadn't connected to before now. The bible is being preached, but unfortunately in some cases is being distorted.
Satan hasn't won. He knows that his time is short, so the pressure is on. The bible predicted this over three thousand years ago. We shouldn't be surprised by what's currently happening. Preparation is key. We have to put on the whole armor of God to defect the enemies of truth. Now is not the time to mourn over the loss of the churches. They are no longer the refuge that so many have depended on over the years. They have become corrupt shadows of a lifestyle that has been banished.
It is the people now that must move out of the established church, take their feeble faith and reach out to others. It is the people who need to come back to the roots of their faith, hold onto the truths of the bible and stand up against the enemy.
We are living in a world of darkness. They hate us. The rays of light that we shine on their wickedness pains them. They want nothing to do with us. They thought by closing the established churches that they would defeat us. They cheered to see the people panicking and cowering in fear. They feed on anxiety as the world economies collapse. They didn't expect rays of hope.
We can be those rays of hope. We don't have to live in this world of darkness any longer. People are waiting for us to show them the light that pierces the darkness. Oh, how I long for that day of brilliant light when Jesus comes back!
